TRANSPERSONAL

SINCE 2019

The world is a mysterious place. In fact, life starts with this statement, and what preceded it is at most an unwitting dream. Mystery builds relationships, creates space, a range of perspectives, encourages movement, provides direction… The relationship of Self and Other. Once again, Levinas comes back to me. Imagine that the world speaks to you, reacts to you, that all your thoughts carry its fulfilment and reaction. Feel how reality perfectly envelops your body, how its many aspects permeate you on various levels of micro and macro-structures – the eternal phenomenon, space and energy relationship. While immersed in it, I feel obliged to capture this subtle structure. My art does not attack, intimidate. It awaits – awaits like Huxley’s door of perception, inviting to a journey. It reminds us of the possibility, creates a symbol, a sign, which in certain circumstances provokes transcendental experiences. The ritual character of creation plays a fundamental role for me. That is why I tend to create cycles or environments more often than individual pieces. I prefer to enclose myself in a devised reality. I often strive to create a place of a sacred, mystical character. And I like when works interact with silence and space, maintaining the ideal proportion for personality to appear in it. I create a place for the viewer to fit into, to feel embraced yet not overwhelmed.
